Exciting Staff Changes at Loaves & Fishes
2017 brought many exciting changes to Loaves & Fishes, first and foremost, the opening of 10 new food pantries in Mecklenburg Co. To help with this growth and the increased need of our food insecure neighbors, Loaves & Fishes is happy to announce two staff changes.
Angie Brumer has been promoted to the newly created position of Operations Director. In this role, Angie will serve as the primary liaison between our Administrative Office, Warehouse Department and pantry locations. Angie previously served as Quality Control Coordinator and has been on staff since 2010. Angie is thrilled to work with Warehouse Director Jamie Kay and his staff, as well as our pantry coordinators, to improve efficiency, streamline logistics and food needs.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Bill Bowling will transition in his role as part-time Administrative Assistant to full-time. Since 2012, Bill has been one of the first people to greet you when you call the Loaves & Fishes office and we are delighted to welcome him to full-time!
Join us in congratulating Angie and Bill!
