Your Generosity This #GivingTuesdayCLT Raised Over $37,750 to Help Fuel Our Fleet of Trucks!

              

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving and generosity, and here in Charlotte, we celebrate with #GivingTuesdsayCLT – an opportunity to come together to take action for our community.

This year our goal for Giving Tuesday was to raise funds to fuel our fleet of trucks! We depend on our trucks to travel all over Mecklenburg Co. to distribute food boxes to over 2,000 hungry neighbors each week. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we blew past our goal of $15,000, raising $37,754 to keep our fleet of eight vehicles on the road for a year!

Going mobile: As a result of COVID-19, we have been forced to shut down our brick and mortar pantries and switch to a mobile pantry distribution system. This keeps our trucks out on the road 6 days a week providing groceries to neighbors in need.
