The First Full Day as Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays and What a Day It Has Been!

IT’S OFFICIAL – Monday, May 3rd marked the first day of operation as our newly merged organization, Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays. And what a day it has been!

 

 

Tina and Lucy kicked things off by delivering the first Friendship Trays meals of the day.

 

Staff and volunteers prepped the Friendship Trays meals for delivery.

 

Meals bagged up and ready to deliver – rain or shine!

 

Next up, a Pop Up Food Share distributing fresh produce with our partners at the Morrison Family YMCA at Ballantyne

before closing out the day with staff and volunteers providing a week’s worth of groceries to neighbors at a mobile pantry at The Charlotte Church.

And this was just the first day! We couldn’t be more excited to begin this new chapter as one team providing groceries and meals!
