Mecklenburg Co. Approves $2.9 Million in Funding to Expand Our Grocery Home Delivery Program

Breaking News!! We are absolutely OVERJOYED to share that Mecklenburg County Commissioners have unanimously approved the County Manager’s recommendation to provide $2.9 million in funding for our home grocery delivery program!!!! This funding, made possible by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), will allow Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays to expand our grocery home delivery service by introducing a free Instacart online ordering platform and increase operations from 3 days a week to 6 days a week.
