By the Numbers – What You Made Possible in 2021
2021 proved to be another unprecedented year. In May, Loaves & Fishes and Friendship Trays came together as one organization increasing access to healthy, nutritious food for everyone in our community. The numbers tell the story.
Whether it is
- providing a week’s worth of groceries through our network of emergency food pantries,
- delivering healthy, freshly prepared meals daily as the primary Meals on Wheels program in Mecklenburg Co.,
- connecting neighbors in need with services beyond food,
Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays is the answer to food insecurity for our community.
In 2022, we promise to bring even more ways to answer the needs of the most vulnerable in our community. We are looking forward to working together with you – our volunteers, donors and community partners – to reach even more neighbors who need us.
