collecting non-perishable food items for Loaves & Fishes

Drop off food donations at any Mecklenburg County Harris Teeter Store now through Sunday, February 9th. 

Food Collection barrels will be located at the entrance of each Harris Teeter.

Priority needs include canned meat, canned pastas, cereal, canned fruit
and 100% fruit juice.

Food donated during Scouting for Food will help feed our neighbors in need.
In 2013, Loaves & Fishes fed 105,015 people in Mecklenburg County.  
                  
 
Scouting for Food is sponsored by The Boy Scouts of America, Harris Teeter,
NBC Charlotte, The New 103.7 WSOC, and Stegall Trucking. 
 
Loaves & Fishes provides a week’s supply of nutritious groceries at no cost to individuals and families 
who are experiencing a crisis through a network of 19 food pantries in Mecklenburg County.
